Do I need to prep my hair for an appointment #?

Yes - for certain services. INTRO to BB CURLS, BB CURLY CUT and EXPRESS DRY CURLY CUT - all require us to see your hair in its natural state with as little disruption to your curl pattern as possible.

How can I reschedule or cancel my appointment #?

It is very easy to manage your appointment via your Vagaro account. You can change the date or time or cancel if you need to. Please see our cancellation policy as terms and conditions apply.

I have never been in before, do I need to go for the INTRO to BB CURLS #?

We strongly recommend that on your very first visit with the team you go for the INTRO. The service is designed to give you the maximum time with your stylist. You have probably come to us because of a previous negative experience elsewhere or you are stuck on your curl journey - this service allows us the proper amount of time to work through everything with you and give you as much help and advice as possible. You will also see and experience visible results. There are no short cuts to perfect curls. Let us help you embrace them properly.

Will my curly hair be cut wet #?

No not usually. Most of our curly cutting services start with your hair dry - unless we need to do a clarifying or detox treatment first to strip heavy product build up out of your hair. We mostly do an initial shaping cut on dry hair (which is why coming in with your hair prepped is so important) and then your stylist might fine tune the cut after it has been cleansed, treated and dried.

How should I prep my hair #?

We want you to get the most out of your visit. Coming in with your hair prepped is really important.

DO: Come in with your hair cleansed, conditioned, detangled and dry.

DO: Style it as you normally would but take care to avoid heavy oils and butters that leave a film on your hair and weigh it down.

DON'T: Use heavy styling products like shea/coconut oil/avocado oil - these products change your curl pattern.

DON'T: Use anything that would change the pattern of your curl - no hair-bands, buns, ponytails, hats, clips.

DON'T: Brush your curl out.

Are all your stylists trained in curly hair services #?

Everyone in the salon is trained in BB CURLS™ - anyone cutting hair is trained as a BB CURL EXPERTS and all of our assistants are BB CURL ASSISTANTS.

Do you offer straight hair cuts #?

Of course - the team of stylists are all fully trained hairdressers that have worked on every type of hair. We love it all!

How can I contact the salon #?

During working hours, we try not to leave our clients too much to answer the phone. The best way to get in touch is to private message us on Instagram.

Phone messages are listened to every morning and the team will get back to you as soon as possible.
