The BB Hair experience... Sometimes you have to break the mould to find your place in the world and that is how The BB Hair Collective came into being.
Our Mission
The BB Hair Collective is a fantastic crew of likeminded creatives, each bringing their passion, compassion and unique perspectives to the forefront. The team in the collective are all Belle & Blackley trained - a legacy that was rooted in family business and the classic salon landscape.
But after lockdown, the winds of change were undeniable, and it’s clear we needed to adapt, pivot, and embrace the rapid transformation of the business landscape. As we’ve grown, so has our vision. Our direction has evolved, and the focus has shifted to a personal journey of growth and sharing knowledge.
We invite you to join us, The Curly Scott, and our sister brand Wax HQ as we redefine the future of hair styling and beauty services.

Our Craft
As we evolved into this collective, our services became experiences that you cannot get anywhere else. Our combined levels of expertise, continual commitment to training, cutting edge techniques and products and an understanding that sometimes, in the case of our work with curly clients, the person in your chair is dealing with generational trauma and having to learn anew how to love their hair.
The 'BB” in BB Hair Collective is about embracing “Bold Beauty,” breaking “Beyond Borders,” and celebrating “Blended Backgrounds.” This is not just a name change; it’s a symbol of inclusivity, creativity, and the limitless possibilities of our craft.
Under the banner of The BB Hair Collective and the continued excellence of BBCURLS™️, we’re not just adapting; we’re thriving in the face of change.
Our Salon
We are based in the Grade A listed building, The Lion Chambers - originally designed for lawyers and artists! We love that weird combination of professionalism and a little bit of anarchy. We have dedicated wall space in and outside of the salon to showcase the work of several of Glasgow's best Urban Artists.
The salon is all on ground level and near all of Glasgow main bus and train stations. There are street parking bays just outside (we are within the LEZ).
